Leave it to U2 to use their massive venue to pay tribute and dedicate songs to connect even further with their audience!
Over the weekend the band ? which continues to have the largest turnout for their tours ? kicked off their hit Beautiful Day with a touching video message from Rep. Giffords' husband:
"I look forward to coming home. Tell my wife I love her very much. She knows."
The crowed was moved and went nuts cheering for the injured Rep. who made it home this week despite a horrible gunshot wound at the hands of a crazed gunman only 5 months ago!
Not only Giffords got a shout out, though, as Maria Shriver was there in the audience. She got a dedication before U2's hit Pride!
Even without the heartwarming shout-outs, we're not surprised to hear that they put on another brilliant show yet again!
